After all we have been through throughout this process the first time we walked into the OB's office was quite a moment. Jaz and I looked at each other and just smiled, we were so happy to be at this point in our journey.
Our warrior baby is happy & healthy! We met one of the doctors and once we were all on the same page about the surrogacy journey the ultrasound started. The heartbeat was loud and healthy and the baby was moving and grooving! The baby was moving around and it was amazing to see. We are around 11 weeks at this point so we are thrilled to hear the next appointment would be our 13 weeks anatomy scan!
Fast forward 2 weeks and we are back! This is definitely a nerve wracking appointment because we are hopeful today goes well and we will then be in the second trimester! Well everything looked great! Our beautiful warrior baby is growing and moving and healthy. The baby was even sucking its thumb, which was an incredible thing to see!
We cannot wait to meet our unicorn baby!
