GENDER REVEAL!

So when you go through IVF and genetic testing everything is very exact and scientific. That being said pregnancies are a bit different when you go though this journey. Something not typical is that the gender is known from the day of the embryo transfer. The fertility doctor and embryologist know the gender as soon as they do the transfer. We obviously didn't find out from the very beginning but decided we wanted to do a gender reveal once we hit the 2nd Trimester.

This whole process is a bit difficult from the "Intended Mother" side, that is me. It is amazing that I am able to stay safe while also having my own biological children through surrogacy. But that does not mean the journey is not difficult and emotional at times. It is pretty difficult to feel connected to the pregnancy since it is not you who is growing this incredible soon-to-be human being. Things are a big unorthodox with this journey and I am trying to find anyway possible to make it more normal and to me that included a gender reveal where we were ALL surprised! And we were able to do that. We got our close family together safely and everyone else collected on Zoom and we did a gender reveal.

AND IT'S A GIRL!!!!!!! We had 4 boy embryos and 3 girl embryos & defying the ODDS YET AGAIN Baby GIRL Pawar is our true unicorn.
