Well let me tell you this journey is not easy. No matter what anyone says or what their situation, IVF is NO WALK IN THE PARK.

As I have written I am on blood thinners to try to avoid me clotting while going through IVF while my hormone levels rise. On Friday night I realized in the shower that behind my knee was swelling and for the past few days I had been getting some tingling and heat sensation in my other leg so of course I need to think worst case scenario, blood clot.

The next morning I called my doctor and when hearing my symptoms she has the same worry and send me to the ER. YAY, the place everyone loves so much. My fiancé drives me to the ER right near our house and as soon as blood clot comes out of my mouth we don't even sit and 10 minutes later I am already in an ER hospital bed.

Luckily after some testing and doctor evaluation it is ruled out as a blood clot. THANK GOD. We are hoping it is a muscle inflammation or possibly just side effects from all these hormones.

Also I will be honest with you, mixing these meds yourself and giving yourself shots is pretty grueling. I applaud the women who go through this process numerous times. Luckily my mother-in-law to be and my sister-in-law are nurses and amazing people and to make me feel better for the first week of shots, took turns coming and giving me my shots. They drove an hour to give me my shots and I cannot thank them enough. My family and friend support through this is amazing.

BUT let me tell you, when you are on a blood thinner, and 3 hormone shots daily in your stomach, it HURTS, get bruised and you get irritable.

Also have cried during random times this week, want to talk about random times, I cried while watching an episode of Food Networks, Guys Grocery Games.
